Your Story Productions Ltd Was Established in 2025, by Producer and Director, Amber Gillespie. After a decade of working in broadcast, Amber founded Your Story Productions Ltd, as a way to combine the creative industry, with being present for her young family.
Amber has spent her career making shows for broadcasters and streamers including the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Netflix. Her career has taken her all over the world, from the Belizean Jungle to the Arctic Circle, filming and interviewing people from all walks of life. Storytelling has always been at the heart of every show, every interview and every edit and that is how Your Story came to be.
At Your Story Productions Ltd, we are all things creative storytelling from charity films to long form interviews, telling people's story is our bread and butter. The business has evolved along with family life and our storytelling has now naturally developed into children's books. Bringing creative storytelling to young children has become an important part of what we do, and is inspired by Amber's personal experiences.
Max's Woodland Walk is the first in a series of beautifully illustrated picture books, which were born from a love of writing. The series is inspired by Amber's loveable cockapoo, Max, and their walks with her young family. We hope that our passion for storytelling will inspire young children to have their own adventures in nature, and create their own stories.
We are passionate about nurturing local creative talent and against the use of AI, therefore we are proud to say that Max's picture book series is written by Amber in Dorset, and hand illustrated in watercolour and ink by Helen Miller, a Devon based artist. We have also opted to print the books locally, through a UK based printing company who are also passionate about responsible printing.
